Svenska Saxbolaget AB is a family business that has manufactured medical and surgical instruments since 1944 as well as products for other lines of business, including the food industry.
We focus primarily on single items and small series production where there is a need for precise tolerances, high traceability and excellent surface finish. We manufacture finished products from raw materials, in stainless steel, acid-proof steel and titanium. We are especially orientated towards production involving different manufacturing techniques.
Our business concept is to provide customers with timely solutions and comprehensive manufacturing, with a transparent division of responsibilities.
For our design work we often use ProE. Our extensive experience enables us to apply machining and material expertise to the entire production process, from the design phase all the way through manufacturing. Over the years, we have cultivated a wide network of competent subcontractors.
We are certified according to quality management standard ISO 9001:2008. Our quality work is reviewed by LRQA twice a year. Process control and product checking according to PPAP. Traceability for materials and processes using backup documents.
We develop our human resources through systematic job rotation, which leads to richer experience, greater competence and broader flexibility. This lays the foundation for the development and refining of our manufacturing processes.
